I've experimented on my Mac with various versions of browsers, and finally
managed to get the map working. The winning combination was Internet
Explorer 5 and the latest MRJ (version 2.2.2 - see below for download
instructions). IE 4.01 with the latest MRJ _almost_ worked - most of the
Java applet loaded except for the main map, which made it a little hard to
know which region you were selecting. Netscape, even version 4.73, didn't
work at all :-( I guess the way Netscape does Java 1.1 on the Mac is a bit
broken.
Cheers,
Koren

I had trouble getting it to work yesterday (the page and applets
were loaded, but no map appeared), but it was working fine this
morning using Netscape 4.51 and 4.73 under Linux (Sparc and Intel
versions respectively.) If you are using Netscape 4.0x, you will
probably need to upgrade to 4.73.
The latest MacOS Runtime for Java (MRJ) can be downloaded from
http://www.apple.com/java this may fix the problems on the Macintosh.
This won't work with Netscape on the Macintosh - it has its own Java
runtime. Using the latest version of Netscape (4.73) may help.
