Hi all

A big southerly has come about this afternoon and should provide good seawatching conditions through the coming weekend. So If you are keen (who's not!!!) meet me at Magic Pt Maroubra this Saturday at 8 am. There is a concrete shelter at the end of the point. To get to this shelter, walk along the track running from the southern end of Maroubra beach running along the northern end of the Rifle Range till you get to the point. There should be ample parking at nearby Maroubra Life Savings Club.

We expect to see 4 species of Albatross, Giant Petrels, Common Diving Petrels, Cape Petrels, 3 species of Prions etc. Lets hope these winds will be strong enough to get through to Saturday atleast.

See you there if you dare RAIN, HAIL, OR SHINE!!!

cheers!

Edwin
