Dear Everyone,

One of my favourite things is reading the emails on birding-aus. It gives me a
buzz every morning. Before the chat line I almost never came in contact with
birdos durig the working week.

My sister are I driving up to Lake Eyre (Melbourne, Burra, Maree, Level Post
Bay) leaving next Sunday and I was wondering if anyone has any useful recent
information on road conditions etc.

We also have a wish list of "special birds" that we would be grateful for any
tips on the best places to look.

Chestnut Breasted White Face
Thickbilled Grasswren
Straited Grasswren
White Browed tree creeper
Cinnamon Quail thrush

We will be away about 10 days, camping for 3 or 4 days (depending on how cold
it is) and will be travelling in a light 4 wheet drive.

We will lodge a trip report when we get back

Many thanks

Barbara Burns
