John Blue-faced Honeyeaters occur in several very localised spots in the Capertee Valley. They are not an uncommon inland bird. Easy to see in Dubbo, for example. Beautiful Firetails occur regularly, but not commonly, in the Capertee Valley. Most of the records I am aware of appear to be in the cooler months. Black Falcons are, again, regular but not common in the valley. I saw a pair there last April on a tree-planting weekend. My only query about your list is the Brush Bronzewing. I am not personally aware of any record of this species in the Capertee Valley. Common Bronzewing are very common (is this obvious?). I would be very interested in details of your Brush Bronzewing sighting.
