There are some Swift Parrot at Ellalong.  A small group were seen there a few days ago by Jenny Meynell, and I saw 4 birds there this afternoon on my way home after the weekend.  Apparently on Saturday there were about 20 birds there.  There were also a small group of Musk Lorikeet seen at various times - I found 3 birds today.

Ellalong is a small and pretty village near Cessnock in NSW.  It's main claim to fame for birdo's is a large lagoon that can sometimes have good birds at it.  The Swift Parrot are feeding in flowering gum trees near the corner of Watson St and Sheddon St, in an area that is sub-divided for sale.
