Hi Tony et al,
I have a book entitled "The Wandering Tattler : Travels in search of birds"
written by Elizabeth Forster (1979). The first chapter (about 35 pages) of the
book deals with her travels to Fiji.
It is full of useful information, reference to birds in Fiji, and where to see
them. I imagine it is a hard book to track down (especially in your neck of the
woods) however I can fax you a copy of the relevant chapter if you like. Let me
know.
All the best,
Tim

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any up to date information on where to get the Fiji
endemics, good but economical places to stay and names and addresses of any
local birders. Any web sites with information or anything else which might
help. I will be in Fiji for two weeks later in the year and obviously would
like to see as much as possible.
Any ideas about getting Collared Petrel? Any recent info. on Bar-winged
Rail, Pink-billed Parrot Finch or any other of the real goodies??
Please reply privately.
Thanks.
Tony.
