John, 1 Refer my 2/6/00 Birding-Aus reply to J & M Cooper which in part was: BOCA have an 86 page "BOCA Report Number 8" 1998, by Bob Shanks called "Bird-hides and Boardwalks" (price was $30) It includes many Australian photo's, some plans. and an extensive Bibliography. 2 It does include info on one-way glass. Several photo's are printed including photos of a hide at Braeside Park, Vic. and your "the Observatory" at Coolart Wildlife Reserve. Regards, Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
