Friends:

I am developing a gallery of bird photos and have two from that I cannot fully
identify.
The picture are from a generic photo source. The first seems to be that of a
Rainbow
Lorikeet which is different than any I saw will visiting you and may be a
non-Austrailian subspecies.

The second is either a Long-billed Black-Cockatoo or a Yellow-tailed
Black-Cockatoo.
Because there is no information as to where the picture was taken, and the
color of the
eye ring is not distinct, I cannot identify it with any certainty. Perhaps it
can't be
identified. Would like to know that also.

You can look at these two unknow bird pictures at:
i-bird.com/Gallery/Unknown/Unknown1.htm

Thanks for your time. If you want to see other pictures you can visit
i-bird.com/Gallery/gallery.htm. There are about 150 species shown. In about 2
weeks
there should be about 400.

And if any of you have pictures that you might like to share, do let me know.

Alan
