Wollongong, NSW Pelagic Trip Report 27th May 2000
Conditions,
Departed at 7.15 am and returned at approx. 3.30 pm.
Sea Conditions: 1.5M - 3-4M in the afternoon.
Weather: Fine but cool
Wind: Light winds to 10 Knots mainly from W
Water temperature 20.0 degrees C on the shelf

Summary,
A usually quiet May trip but because of the few numbers supporting the trip
we only went to th edge of the shelf. It got a bit rough on the way back
but it wasn't too bad. There were noticeably more birds than the previous
weekend off Sydney but still little variety. Please note that Phil Hansbro
is organising the Wollongong trips until further notice.

Future Trips,
Wollongong trips go on the 4th Saturday, Sydney Pelagics normally depart on
the 2nd Saturday of each month and Eden trips on the 5th Sunday (4 times
per year). Please contact either Phil Hansbro or Tony Palliser to make a

the Eden trips.
