Seven magpie Geese were seen today by my son Matthew, at Lake Guyatt, Sale, Vic. This is just over 12 months since they were seen near there for the first time. Re Common Sandpipers, I used to see one or two regularly at Marlo, Vic., where they were always seen on the rock beaching along the Snowy River. Recently one turned up at the Maffra, Vic. Sewage works, where I watched it working along, once again, the rock beaching. Duncan Fraser.
