If there is anyone in BA land who lives in [or will be travelling through] SEQ who has not seen a buff-banded rail, there was one scrapping with the noisy miners at the foot of the stairs of Queen Mary Falls tea-house [about 10 mins out of Killarney] yesterday. It would appear to live in a nearby gully, and is partial to the locally baked scones. The last BB Rail I saw that was that tame was one of the locals on Penguin Island. Regards, Laurie.
