Hi everyone

You have probably heard about it on the news by now - there is a new email virus on the loose - apparently not a hoax this time. It infects MS Outlook clients (i.e. your Outlook message bank and address books) and includes a header along the lines of 'I love you' or some such mush. If you receive a message with a subject line like this, just delete it (after you get over the shock....). Don't open it and certainly don't open the attachment.

Birding-aus has filters in place to remove this type of attachment, but as yet I haven't seen any evidence of this virus in our system. Perhaps our service provider VICNET has already taken steps to block it.

Have a good weekend

Russell
