There is a link to the ABC Sound Library from the birding-aus website
- a bit hard to find, I'll admit, but i'm reorganising the links &
interface at the moment. I would imagine there are copyrigth issues,
rather than technology ones, which might limit the number of calls
available publicly on such a site.
I've always thought that a comprehensive online birdsong database would be a good thing to have - and I think we'll get there eventually. I assume that is the aim of the good folk at the ABC. A key guide to Australian birds would be another handy addition, but I guess we can't expect too much for our 19c, or whatever it is we taxpayers provide for the ABC.
