I have located a Common Myna communal roost adjacent to Townsville
Airport's Terminal building, but how do you get rid of them?

As far as I am aware they are not a declared pest in Queensland (unlike the
rabbit and feral pig), so the State Government (Dept of Natural Resources)
is unlikely to be interested.

Animal control (Dogs and cats) comes under the jurisdiction of the city
council but I doubt if they have any responsibility for wild birds.

The land belongs to the Commonwealth but the airport is run by a private
company Australian Airports Ltd. They are naturally more concerned about
possible bird strikes with the numbers of Magpie Geese which congregate on
the grasslands adjacent to the main runways than Common Mynas in the
airport forecourt.

Any suggestions?
