Lake Eyre is filled with rainwater, Banded Stilts go wandering forth, Roads full of good birdo's, Many go racing hurtling north, The Oz sun goes down leaving only a warm moon, Hope that some stilt chicks grow real soon, Nasty Silver Gull's devastate their number, When all they want in their down was to eat and slumber, But that's the way of this sometimes horrid world, Maintaining the fittest and small chicks get hurled, Despite we might do all that we can, Isn't this the way, that this world began?
