David Geering queried : >I am wondering about the inclusion of the Cattle Egret on this list. I had the same question. If you include Cattle Egret, then in some parts of Australia you probably need to include Crested Pigeon, Galah, corella sp., Sarus Crane, Laughing Kookaburra, Sacred Ibis, Straw-necked Ibis, Rainbow Lorikeet, etc, etc which have been introduced or have self introduced. The inclusion of Ostrich was also interesting. Should we also get rid of chicken, duck, goose, turkey?
