Subject:  New Threatened Species Action Statements

The Victorian Department of Natural Resources and Environment has recently
released a number of Action Statements (ASs) which address the conservation of
various threatened taxa in the state.

Amongst them are three Action Statements on the following birds:

                            Major Mitchells Cockatoo
                            Eastern Bristlebird, and
                                  Powerful Owl

The ASs are accessable from the NRE website:
