The South Australian Ornithological Association Newsletter No 173, March
00 - Birds Record Section lists " 1 x Common Myna 3 km South of Bool
Lagoon, SE SA (This bird was subsequently shot!)".
Cairns - Melbourne observant locals & visitors will know why Common Mynas are called Avian Cane Toads (Pat O'Malley's very accurate description). Pizzey & Knight give the distribution of ACTs in Southern Australia as Melbourne - Ballarat. Bool Lagoon is some 280 km West - a significant extension.
