To all I haven't had any answers to this query as yet and would like to know if anyone out there may be able to answer it. Are there any Tasmania birding ausers out there who may know an answer to my query? In addition, I would also be interested to know what is the size of populations of Herald Petrels on the Great Barrier Reef Islands and White-necked Petrels on Norfolk Island, if anyone can answer this? Thanks Edwin My original query was: > > I have been told second hand that a few Soft-plumaged Petrels have > > colonised/or has been discovered on an island off Tasmania. As a matter of > > interest, can anybody confirm this? How large would be the colony?
