Yesterday (5 March) Judie Peet, Janice Hosking and I were returning to Dubbo from Sydney (via the magnificant Capertee Valley) when 8 km north-west of Mudgee on the Gulgong Road we found a party of about 10 Apostlebirds. This seems to me to be a long way east for them. Anyone (AKM in particular) like to comment? Are they extending their range in NSW, against the apparent trend in Victoria?
