Hi All,

Sorry about the confusion on Wilsons Reserve yesterday, i should
obviously have added Ivanhoe.
Went waking again this evening at Banyule Wetlands, very stifling
conditions, but nevertheless pleasant. I had good great displays from an
Aust Hobby catching insects on the wing!, also plenty of White Browed
Scrubwrens and Red Browed Firetails. I also saw more Mallards than last
visit. Willy Wagtails everywhere.
I wonder if anyone could tell me what to look out for this time of year
and at what times of the day?. I am still a 'beginner', so are there
birds i should be looking out for, possibly plainly obvious to others?.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks to every response about the
Crested Shrike Tit.
P.S. Anthea, i shall endeavor not to refer to you as Brian again!!! :-).

Cheers,

Mark Kliene.
