G'day All,
Just a few minutes ago whilst I was staring out my
front room window searching for inspiration? I had for
the first time, in over ten years of the hanging
feeders being outside, a parrot about one third the
size of a Rainbow Lorikeet.
Turquiose tail most beautiful.
>From top of the head to beginning of tail feathers the
greenest green I've ever seen apart from the chest
area.
Had red colouring worn like John McEnroe from eye to
eye about a quarter inch wide band.
A pale yeloow eye surround.
A paler yellow chest.
Short reddish coloured legs.
Made a whistling sound rather then the parrot type
screech.
It's munching on the orange rinds outside now as I
head off for some film. Fingers crossed still here
when I get back.
