Jim, I was attacked by a Magpie near the 14th green at our local golf course last Sat. I seem to remember the sound of a snapping beak. My mind was concentrating on raising a golf club as quick as possible above my head rather studying mechanically produced sounds so I could be wrong. Regards.... Bob Forsyth Mail...........
