Eurasian Curlew Update

No curlews at Pelican Point at midday nor at 4pm. However, conditions
were still not right as the sandbank was not exposed. Checked the
surrounding area reasonably thoroughly-but no luck,only Bar-tailed
Godwits and Greenshanks.

I will check twice daily for the next two weeks but could all birders
look really closely at all Eastern Curlews in the Central Coast & Hunter
Area particularly at Koorangang Island, we might get lucky.
