Re Tony Palliser's posting- the site was checked out last night and again this morning with no Curlews at all being located. This is very frustrating as Alan Morris has been regularly seeing 9 Eastern Curlews in this area. However, the tide has no been right at these times and presumably the Curlews have been roosting somewhere. I will check around midday today and again arounf 4.30 pm. I'll keep you posted.
