Southern Ocean Seabird Study Association Banders recorded the following interesting occurences from Bateman's Bay in addition to the usual suspects: January 15 2000 Wind NE 15 to 20 knots White Tern 1 Sooty Tern 5 White-necked Petrel 1 Black Petrel 2 Buller's Shearwater 1 Short-finned Pilot Whale 60+ January 16 2000 Wind NNE 10 to 15 Gould's Petrel 2 Tahiti Petrel 1 Sooty Tern 3 Amazingly, amidst these sub-tropical species there were still assorted albatross! cheers Milburn Dr.P.J.
