Happy New Year everyone (the last year of the C20th :-)) I saw an interesting piece of Crimson Rosella behaviour the other day. An adult CR flew up and began feeding another CR (ie beaks interlocked at 90 degrees to each other, the bird that flew up making shaking motions as though regurgitating food into the other's mouth). However th eone being fed was an adult (not a trace of green about it). Is this feeding part of pair-bonding?
