There were some nice birds in Goulburn River National Park (around the White Box Camp area) on Thursday/Friday. Highlights included pairs of both Red-winged Parrot and Glossy Black-Cockatoo, and also a Turquoise Parrot. White Box Camp is an area where Regent H/E are sometimes present, but there was no sign of them this time. (The N.P. is about 30km SW of Merriwa in the Hunter Valley). Also, at a rest area near Denman, three White-winged Triller.
