G'day all
Anyone planning an overseas birding trip should do lots of homework. One useful
resource I've found recently is a website dedicated to trip reports. It's
maintained by Urs Geiser in Illinois, USA. The address is:
http://matrix.crosswinds.net/~birdtrips/TripReports.html
and it has hundreds of (mainly non-USA) trip reports.
While I have your attention can anyone tell me if the birding-aus archive site
is down, broken, closed or moved. It certainly doesn't work anymore.

landed on a tree root about 2.5 metres away on the opposite bank. =
>From this vantage point it commenced to fish the pool below totally =
oblivious of my presence. This was a very special moment for me.
This is a regular site for Little Kingfisher and well worth a visit if =
you need to add this species to your list the following day we saw the =
kingfisher again along with Fernwren and Yellow-throated Scrubwren.
A Magic spot!
