Hello birdlovers... Lorne here... Merry xmas and Happy New Year to all. I trust 2000 will be amazing for all!!!!!!! Re. the birding highlight... Compared to others, I didn't have many in 1999, but the 'hepatic' ORIENTAL CUCKOO at Cattai, Sydney earlier in the year was wonderful and unexpected. I'm off to Cairns, Julattan and Mossman tomorrow, so I think the best of '99 is yet to come!!!!! Peace and good karma to all, Lorne.
