Hi all,
Here's the trip report for the Portland Pelagic that sailed on Sunday 5th
December 1999.
Regards

HIGHLIGHTS: Generally a very quiet day. The appearance of 4 or 5
White-chinned Petrels, including two with very white chins, over the shelf
being was notable. A huge pod of Common Dolphins (variously estimated at
between 500 and 2000 individuals) also provided interest with small numbers
accompanying the boat for about half an hour.
CONDITIONS: Departed 0605 reaching the shelf break at 0835 continued on to
38 37' S 141 06' E (Further west than normal) before turning about at 1245.
