Hi folks,
I am going to be in India for a couple of weeks in February, and I need to
get a bird field guide. All I have at the moment is a Collins book, which
is not very comprehensive, and a hardback book by Ali & Ripley which is not
really a field guide.
I've read about a guide by Grimmett et al published this year which sounds
pretty good. Can anyone comment on this, or any other recently published
guides to the area. I've also seen references to a paperback version of
Grimmett - is this actually available? I've looked on Amazon and they don't
have it, but the ABA on-line catalogue lists it.
