This is a bit over the top, Peter.  You should realise that an email
chatline is in the public domain. Posting a note on birding-aus is no
different to writing to the editor of a magazine you subscribe to. Any
other subscriber is perfectly entitled to pass your posting on to whomever
they choose. Surely this is reasonable and in the best interests of free
speech - remember, you were hoping to flood the Premier's busy staff with a
pile of emails on one of hundreds of issues they are currently dealing
with. It should come as no surprise that somebody warned the Premier's
office of the impending flood, if that is indeed what happened.
