I would just like to thank Andrew for his kind words. As many of you
already know I had the pleasure of taking Phoebe around Australia a couple
of years ago on a hunt for some of the most difficult birds in Australia.
We finished the task this year and the Woolongong pelagic trip was our
final day in the field together after four weeks of travelling. A report of
this trip will be available in the future for anyone interested.
I would just like to add to Andrews comments that not only was Phoebe an
interesting person because of her birding achievements she was also a fine
human being and one of the most generous I have had the pleasure of
meeting.
RIP Phoebe a great loss to the birding world.
