On Sunday 14th November myself and a fellow UK birder Vince Kinsler went to
Barron Grounds NSW along with Edwin Vella. When we left Sydney the wind
seemed fairly light! At Barron Grounds there was a full gale blowing! This
helped produce the only highlight of the day though, 5+ White Browed
Woodswallows blown eastward, a good near coast record. We managed brief
views of an Eastern Bristlebird and Southern Emu Wrens but every other bird
was probably present but due to the gale force wind would not show itself!
cheers Stuart ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
