Hullo All I've just been given a Bush Stone-curlew chick. Hilary and I raised twins successfully 11 years ago and to the surprise of zoos around the place. Apparently these birds usually developed a condition called 'buckle-knee' and had to be destroyed. However I cannot remember all the details of the diet. I wonder if anyone out there has raised these birds. Denise To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
