are. I'm especially greatful to Peter Lansley, Phil Maher, Taffy et al
(of Brookfield CP fame), Eileen Collins and all the helpful rangers.
Highlights (on top of my head):
Werribee: Banded Stilt
Bass Strait Ferry: White-faced Storm-petrel (1 caught!)
Mt Field: Platypus, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Eastern Barred Bandicoot
Strahan: Ground Parrot
Bruny Island: 40-spots, Eastern Quoll
Point Addis: Rufous Bristlebird
Kangaroo Island: Tammar Wallaby
Uluru area: Banded Whiteface, Cinnamon Quail Thrush, Little Woodswallow,
Major Mitchell, Thorny Devil, Western Brown Snake
Kunnoth Well: Grey Honeyeater (1 km S of the turnoff to the youth Camp.
Great care was taken not to confuse it with female redthroat or Western
Geregony), Bourkes Parrot
West MacDonnel Ranges: Dusky Grasswren, Rufous-headed Emuwren,
Black-footed Rock-Wallaby
Brookfield CP: Hairy-nosed Wombat
Hattah: Mallee Emuwren
Deniliquin: Plains Wanderer, Black Honeyeater, Superb Parrot, Freckled
Duck, Bittern, etc, etc
Chiltern: Speckled Warbler, Turqoise Parrot, Barking Owl
Coolibah Court 10, Thurgoona: Regent Honeyeater
Oh, and heaps of other things. There is a trip report, but it's in
swedish... ;-)
