Hi All

Would just like to query John on this one (Sacred or Glossy?)

For some time now we have been observing large flocks of Glossy Ibis on
the Mornington Peninsula. At times there are a few Sacred (White) Ibis
amongst them, but the vast majority appear from the ground the be black
and white.

Can well believe John's count of 500+, flocks vary from 4 or 5 to 70 or
more, sometimes several flocks merge and with binoculars other flocks can
been seen at higher levels.

Apparently some concern has been expressed by pilots flying from Moorabbin
at the unusually large numbers this year.

Will look carefully for White Ibis tomorrow.

Regards

Ken
