G'day all

It's not only foreign subscribers who have trouble with vague localities
mentioned on birding-aus messages. Standards have improved but too often
people assume everyone knows where their favourite haunts are. Often it is
impossible to tell from the email the name of the sender, the state they
reside in etc. Please will everyone make an effort to adequately describe
where localities are. Also, all mailers I've seen have the ability to add
a signature box to the bottom of each email (see mine below). This only
takes a couple of minutes to set up.

As I said, standards have improved since last time someone grumbled about
this but there are still too many messages with these problems.

How about it, everyone?

Cheers

Steve
