Hi, the local artist on Dunk Island (North Queensland, 2 hrs drive south of Cairns) just mentioned to me, that the PIP numbers this year are the lowest she has seen in 20 years! In September/October the numbers at Iron Range and on Restauration Island (3/4 up Cape York, N.Qld) seemed also very low. Unhappy, Klaus Kirrama Wildlife Tours Klaus & Brenda Uhlenhut PO Box 1400 INNISFAIL QLD 4860 Australia PH.: 07 4065 5181 Fax: 07 4065 5197 Intern. fax: +61 7 4065 5197 Kirrama Home Page http://www.gspeak.com.au/kirrama Birding Web Directory http://www.ausbird.com To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
