Hi all, I was beginning to feel victimised, boycotted by migrants. Everyone else was seeing and hearing, but not I. Thanks to everyone for their first records, which I am collating into a spreadsheet. Finally a Channel-bill flew over rural Beerwah yesterday (last year week beginning Monday 21st Sept), chased by two keen crows. And then this morning we saw our first Dollarbird (last year 3rd Oct) in a dead tree. Still no Koel in Beerwah (last year Sept 2, almost a month earlier).
