Dear Birders,

A gentleman called the Birds Australia office in Sydney requesting some information on the use of artificial lighting (street lights etc) by birds.  Does anyone know of any particular studies that have investigated the use/effects of artificial lighting by both diurnal and nocturnal bird species?

Any information would be of great use.

Cheers

Peter
