I am looking for someone in the Sydney area that might like to join me in
some birding in early October. I have never been to Australia before but
will be coming for a short business trip. Once my business meetings
conclude, I will be flying from Adelaide to Sydney, arriving in Sydney 8:20
am on Friday, October 8. I will be leaving Sydney at 1:30 pm the next day,
leaving me just over a day for birding. My hope is to spend as much as
possible of that time birding and I have heard that the Royal National Park
would be the key place to go.
I am a keen, intermediate level birder from Toronto, Canada. For now, I am
hoping to avoid renting a car depending on whether I can hook up with local
birders. If someone with free time during this 1-1/2 day period would care
to bird with a newcomer to Australian birding, I would gladly spring for
expenses and a nice dinner.
