Hi all, The Northern Shoveler was seen again today (the third day in a row) at the Western Treatment Plant (Werribee Sewage Farm) near Melbourne but only after several hours of searching. Note that the bird is moving around quite a bit as today it was found some 5 km north-east of Lake Borrie on a Lagoon near the conservation pits (between 1130 and 1330). On Tuesday when found by Bob Swindley it was on the southern lagoon of Lake Borrie (the big one without the dead trees) and yesterday it was seen on the northern lagoon of Lake Borrie (the big one with the dead trees). Best of luck Rohan To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
