Dear OzBirders on the subject of Hattah-Kulkyne does anyone have any to-the-minute news from this area. I was out there 2 years ago around this time of year and it was badly affected by drought. Needless to say the birding was very slow. It was not just that there was not much breeding activity it seemed there were very few birds there at all. Does anyone know if the birds leave the whole area or do they just skulk around conserving recourses? cheers Milburn Dr.Peter Milburn Biomolecular Resource Facility The Australian National University GPO Box 334 Canberra ACT 0200 AUSTRALIA Phone No. <61> <2> 6249 4326 Fax No. <61> <2> 6249 4326 E-mail Address To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
