Hello everyone, I just found this list when I was looking for info on olive wistlers (pachycephala olivacea) and simerler spicies. A new bird has turned up in my garden, mostly heard not seen. I acually saw it for the first time yesterday. The closest thing I could find in any of my (ageing) bird books is an olive wistler. It's listed as being a rare species so I thought prehaps it's something else, there are allot of othere simler Pachycephala spieces aren't there? My books list 2 others the gloden and rufous wistlers, I'm pertty shure it's nither of them. Any ideas on what else it might be? I might have a photo of this little rascle, but hand holding a 300mm lense isn't really a good idea, so I might not... :-( Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
