Just a note about model names/numbers etc The Magellan Pioneer has indeed been superseded, as suggested. When I got mine from BA I was concerned that it was a "Magellan 300", but soon found out that this is the NEW model, so I'd be surprised if anyone is still getting PIONEERS from the good folk down in Hawthorn. I've been happy with mine - yes, it often takes a while to latch on to enough satellites to get a reading, but this is always worse after moving states or not turning it on for a few weeks.
