Anthea and I were in Melbourne CBD (Lonsdale St west of Elizabeth St. on Tuesday 3rd Aug shortly before 1pm. I heard a short "awk" and thought "Raven". Seconds later came "I'm half starved", and we both said "Was that AUS Raven????" The "starved" was only short, not the full "staaaaaarved" of the inland. Has anyone else heard it? Or better, seen it? We HAVE seen Aus Raven in Mont Albert Rd, standing on the footpath with thraot hackles fully displayed, so we know they sometimes get here.
