Hello Martin. I thought you might like to know that I copied the text of the website you recommended (http://www.act.gov.au/environ/magpies.html) and forwarded it, suitably edited for local use, to our primary school, along with a tape (by Hal Crouch) and a couple of videos. They created considerable interest with the year 6-7 class and will hopefully help to make Morgan a maggie-friendly town this coming spring. Thanks.
