Hullo all Martin the caretaker at the Leanyer sewage ponds recently discovered a group of insterstate visitors throwing stones at the birds there, a Paul Johnson aged about 45, his wife and kids. They were driving a Holden station wagon. According to Mr. Johnson the aim of this exercise was to take photos of the birds flying. I'm told that apart from scaring the birds they injured one. Mr. Johnson and his family are not welcome in the sewage ponds again. Neither is anyone who behaves similarly.
